4th Tuesday at Peckham with GGW!

Networking at Peckham with Gourmet Gone Wild!

Join us from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24 for our Fourth Tuesday Networking Event at Peckham, Inc. in Lansing right by the Lansing airport! We are partnering with Gourmet Gone Wild for a unique networking experience with food and drink pairings. Complimentary appetizers and drinks will be provided.

Guests will enjoy networking and complimentary drinks provided by Ugly Dog Distillery, followed by a live cooking demonstration on Peckham's rooftop patio from GGW's professional chef as he prepares a sample recipe from one of the dishes being served.

Thank you to our event partner, Gourmet Gone Wild. GGW is an outreach program designed to introduce young professionals to hunting and fishing in an innovative way: tasteful and healthy cuisine. GGW highlights the health benefits of eating wild game while emphasizing its connection to environmental stewardship, sustainability and conservation. Currently, the majority of hunters and anglers in Michigan are over the age of 40. GGW caters to young professionals with events featuring professionally prepared wild game dishes, local beer and wine tastings and cooking demonstrations. Through outreach programs like this one, GGW hopes to create a new generation of conservationists and outdoor enthusiasts.

Thank you to our venue host, Peckham, Inc. Peckham, a community vocational rehabilitation organization, is a unique business and human services agency which values quality, diversity and performance. Our Mission

The Grand River Connection seeks to develop a stronger network to support Lansing and East Lansing’s young and vital workforce. We exist to bring together young professionals in our community who are in their 20s and 30s. Our diverse, non-partisan group provides fun, social, and professional connections that encourage economic growth and community involvement where we live, work, and play.

Our History

The Grand River Connection was founded in Spring 2005 to fill a gap in the community. Greater (East) Lansing is a great place for college students and a great place to raise a family, but for those in between there was no viable social network. With a goal of filling that gap in mind, the GRC was born.

Young professionals in their 20s and 30s in the Greater Lansing area are welcome to join the group, and joining is very simple. There are NO membership fees, and most of our events are FREE! Simply sign up for our monthly newsletter by clicking the big button at the top right of this website.
