4th Tuesday at Troppo

Networking at Troppo!

Please join us from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 23 for our Fourth Tuesday Networking Event at Troppo right in the heart of Downtown Lansing! Complimentary appetizers will be provided and a cash bar will be available.

Thank you to our event host, Troppo Italian Kitchen. A downtown Lansing staple for years, Troppo remodeled the classic restaurant and bar in late 2017. Offering craft cocktails, wood-fired pizza and small plates, Troppo is the perfect place for young professionals to grab dinner and drinks with friends and experience dining and social events in an unmatched setting. Guests can enjoy the best view of the Capitol Dome, as well as lunch, dinner and cocktails while unwinding on the patio. Troppo is also great for entertaining guests or hosting an event for any occasion in their fully furnished private dining rooms. Stop by and check out the new menu today!

Our Mission

The Grand River Connection seeks to develop a stronger network to support Lansing and East Lansing’s young and vital workforce. We exist to bring together young professionals in our community who are in their 20s and 30s. Our diverse, non-partisan group provides fun, social, and professional connections that encourage economic growth and community involvement where we live, work, and play.

Our History

The Grand River Connection was founded in Spring 2005 to fill a gap in the community. Greater (East) Lansing is a great place for college students and a great place to raise a family, but for those in between there was no viable social network. With a goal of filling that gap in mind, the GRC was born.

Young professionals in their 20s and 30s in the Greater Lansing area are welcome to join the group, and joining is very simple. There are NO membership fees, and most of our events are FREE! Simply sign up for our monthly newsletter by clicking the big button at the top right of this website.
