4th Tuesday at The Rusty Mug REO Town!

Networking at The Rusty Mug REO Town!

We're checking out one of REO Town's newest hot spots this month! Join us after work on Tuesday, Oct. 22 from 5:30/6 - 8 p.m. at The Rusty Mug Bar & Grill REO Town for our October Networking Event. Complimentary appetizers will be available courtesy of The Rusty Mug, and a cash bar will be available. Plenty of parking is available on Washington Ave., and throughout REO Town!

Thank you to our event host, The Rusty Mug Bar & Grille REO Town! The Rusty Mug opened its doors in REO Town earlier this year and features modern American pub fare for breakfast, lunch and dinner along with over 10 beers on tap, rotating seasonally and the majority are Michigan made. The newly-renovated space features traditional bar and restaurant seating inside with pool tables and two massive garage doors that lead out on to the patio along Washington Avenue. The patio features both traditional style seating and cocktail seating in comfy and colorful Adirondack chairs where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of Lansing's REO Town!

The Rusty Mug Bar & Grill REO Town also features a mug club for regular visitors. For $50, mug club members get a 23 oz. pour for the price of a 16 oz., daily drink and food specials from Sunday to Thursday, and a handmade mug in your choice of four different colors and styles.

Our Mission

The Grand River Connection seeks to develop a stronger network to support Lansing and East Lansing’s young and vital workforce. We exist to bring together young professionals in our community who are in their 20s and 30s. Our diverse, non-partisan group provides fun, social, and professional connections that encourage economic growth and community involvement where we live, work, and play.

Our History

The Grand River Connection was founded in Spring 2005 to fill a gap in the community. Greater (East) Lansing is a great place for college students and a great place to raise a family, but for those in between there was no viable social network. With a goal of filling that gap in mind, the GRC was born.

Young professionals in their 20s and 30s in the Greater Lansing area are welcome to join the group, and joining is very simple. There are NO membership fees, and most of our events are FREE! Simply sign up for our monthly newsletter by clicking the big button at the top right of this website.
