4th Tuesday at University Club: 10 Over the Next Ten Awards

Networking at the U-Club: 10 Over the Next Ten Awards!

Please join us and the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce on Tuesday, Sept. 25 from 6-8 p.m. to honor ten local young professionals with promising futures and who are expected to have a major positive impact to our community over the next ten years. Chamber President Tim Daman will present the awards to ten impressive nominees during our monthly Fourth Tuesday Networking Event at The University Club. Complimentary  hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar will be provided by the University Club

Thank you to our event host, the University Club.  Well known for its pool (newly renovated) and tennis facilities, the U-Club is a year-round social, business, dining and recreation club. Some membership levels also include full golfing privileges at Forest Akers. Membership at the U-Club is surprisingly affordable, with special "Junior Membership" packages available for those under the age of 35.

Directions to the U-Club can be found here. Plenty of free parking is available on-site.

Thank you to our event sponsor, the Lansing Regional Chamber of Commerce!

Our Mission

The Grand River Connection seeks to develop a stronger network to support Lansing and East Lansing’s young and vital workforce. We exist to bring together young professionals in our community who are in their 20s and 30s. Our diverse, non-partisan group provides fun, social, and professional connections that encourage economic growth and community involvement where we live, work, and play.

Our History

The Grand River Connection was founded in Spring 2005 to fill a gap in the community. Greater (East) Lansing is a great place for college students and a great place to raise a family, but for those in between there was no viable social network. With a goal of filling that gap in mind, the GRC was born.

Young professionals in their 20s and 30s in the Greater Lansing area are welcome to join the group, and joining is very simple. There are NO membership fees, and most of our events are FREE! Simply sign up for our monthly newsletter by clicking the big button at the top right of this website.
